You will collaborate with engineers, scientists, operations, advanced procurement, and marketing to design and develop new ideas for product development. Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Active student with two years of Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology study at an accredited college or university.
• Working knowledge in a 3-D modeling software.
• General knowledge of mechanical engineering design principles, practices, and methods.
• General knowledge of manufacturing techniques and industry standards.
• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and have excellent interpersonal skills.
• Passion, self-motivation, great attention to detail, multitasking, and enthusiasm for learning.

Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot manufacturing, quality and supply chain related product issues.
• Design solutions that are manufacturable, serviceable, and reliable using Siemens NX software.
• Involved in the design and development of complex scientific instrumentation products.
• Create or modify detail drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials for complex systems.
