Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking a Systems Development Engineer II focused on automation and reliability for US ADC regions. You will design and implement automation, scripts, and IaC to reduce toil and improve operational health.

You will own pipeline hardening, monitoring, and incident response, collaborating with ADC Operations engineers to diagnose issues and deliver scalable, reliable solutions in a fast-paced AWS environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional).
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 3+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
• Experience programming in at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions addressing complex operational challenges to improve ADC region reliability.
• Participate in full project lifecycle from ideation to deployment with measurable reliability improvements.
• Build and maintain automation, scripts, and infrastructure-as-code bridging platforms and tooling for ADC environments.
• Harden and optimize CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and alerting to improve deployment velocity and surface issues.
• Collaborate with service teams and ADC Operations engineers to diagnose cross-partition issues and develop repeatable solutions.
• Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders across teams.
