Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Development Engineer to design and own automation platforms powering the Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC). You will shape infrastructure strategies, mentor engineers, and collaborate with software and product teams to meet demanding compliance and security requirements.

You will lead end-to-end initiatives, drive reliability and operational excellence, and elevate automation across global AWS environments in a high-impact role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of development/programming/scripting experience (Python/Java/Bash/Perl).
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tooling.
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deliver, and operate large-scale infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines for ADC environments focusing on security, availability, and repeatability.
• Drive technical design reviews across engineering and operations teams.
• Define and champion systems engineering standards, tooling, and best practices.
