Qualifications

• Associate's degree or above or professional security certs (CND, GSEC).
• Experience programming in at least one modern language (C++, Java, Python, etc.).
• Experience with automation tools for building, testing, releasing or monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable code for internal AWS tools and services, participating in code reviews and feedback.
• Implement and test new features to boost developer productivity and operational capabilities.
• Collaborate across the software development lifecycle including design discussions, testing, documentation, deployment and maintenance.
• Debug and resolve issues across the stack and participate in operational support to identify root causes.
• Develop and implement automated solutions to reduce repetitive tasks and improve reliability across AWS.
• Expand regional coverage for AWS services and assist in troubleshooting region-specific challenges.
• Mentor and grow with engineers, contributing to a culture of excellence and reliability.
