Job summary
Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Systems Development Engineer to support Leo shared services, including RHEL and Windows administration, VMware vSphere, and cloud infrastructure for satellite design and manufacturing teams.
You will drive automation, change control, uptime, disaster recovery, and collaboration with engineering groups to deliver stable, scalable infrastructure for critical engineering applications.
Qualifications
- Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
- Experience with Linux/Unix.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
Responsibilities
- Manage RHEL supporting engineering tools.
- Manage Windows supporting engineering tools.
- Manage VMware vSphere and guests.
- Maintain uptime for critical design and manufacturing applications.
- Implement and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Handle physical server deployments and maintenance.
- Create and enforce change management procedures.
- Work directly with engineering teams to understand requirements.
- Plan and execute system improvements.
- Document technical processes and configurations.
- Develop Automation.
- Disaster Recover and Business Continuity Planning.
- Design and implement technical solutions.
- Service monitoring.
