Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer for Amazon LEO Mission Operations. You will own cross-system problem resolution across constellations, define interfaces, and drive verification and validation from discovery to closure.

You will work with hardware, software, ground, and human elements to ensure scalable operations, performance, and safety in evolving fleet scenarios.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infra.
• Programming in modern languages such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and CI/CD pipelines.
• 3+ years in Aerospace, plus 1+ year in spacecraft operations or direct support.
• Technical understanding of space system architecture and subsystems.

Responsibilities

• Own cross-system resolution of operational problems for multiple constellations.
• Define and maintain interfaces, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage fleet health KPIs and the operational risk register.
• Author CONOPS and verify operational readiness under realistic conditions.
• Coordinate with ground services and cross-functional teams.
