Job summary

GTA Containers Inc. seeks a System Assembler to build, inspect, test, and package mechanical and electromechanical systems for defense applications. The role follows engineering drawings and instructions to produce reliable assemblies, maintain records, and meet production schedules.

You will work with tools, read drawings, perform basic wiring, and complete documentation while upholding safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs and work instructions.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools and measuring devices.
• Basic math and measurement skills; accurately record quantities and test results.
• Ability to communicate work status and cooperate with others.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components using hand and power tools and fixtures.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, bills of materials, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
• Verify part numbers, quantities and revisions before starting work.
• Perform wiring tasks including cutting, stripping, crimping and routing wires.
• Conduct pressure, water, leak, and functional testing and record results.
• Inspect workmanship and notify supervisor of defects; rework only when authorized.
• Prepare kits, labels and packaging for system builds and field deployment.
