The Systems Analyst III serves as a technical and business analyst for enterprise quality, patient experience and safety. This role is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise analytics and reporting solutions that drive strategic and operational decision-making. This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions.
Candidates will require proven experience in Tableau or Power BI dashboard build and design, SQL query and data extraction, EMR data extraction and reporting, function and formula writing, ability to summarize and interpret data as well as experience working with internal and external stakeholders serving as the technical analytic lead in project development.
This is a hybrid position with 1-2 days on-site, in Independence, OH. A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Write SQL queries to extract data from databases
- Build Tableau dashboards and data visualizations, and maintain and modify existing Tableau dashboards
- Have advanced Excel skills and use Excel for data analysis and reporting, including calculations, pivot tables, filtering, and formatting
- Handle requests for data and reporting solutions including project scoping and exploration and meeting with requesters throughout the process to ensure the final reporting solution meets the requested specifications
- Work independently on multiple data projects simultaneously, maintain tasks, and manage timelines
- Work seamlessly together with other analysts on group projects and be responsible for their part in the work
- Speak effectively about the progress of data projects and be able to plan and explain timelines to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and hospital leaders both in person and through email and messaging
- Create technical documentation regarding data projects
- Demonstrate agility and flexibility by adapting to changing priorities, requirements, and business needs
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of the position start date.
- Five years of experience in information technology dealing with applications development and support, or end user training, or equivalent experience in an operational or financial role utilizing the systems or data generated by the systems supported by this position.
- OR High School diploma/GED and seven years of experience.
- OR Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Highly preferred: Have intermediate to advanced SQL query writing skills
- Highly preferred: Have intermediate to advanced Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization experience
- Highly preferred: Have intermediate to advance Excel skills
- Preferred: Experience with Snowflake, dbt, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Code
- Preferred: Experience with Epic EMR front end interface as well as pulling data from back-end tables (Epic Clarity/Epic Caboodle)
- Preferred: Experience with writing or modifying Python code for data purposes
- Preferred: Healthcare analytics experience (working with clinical and operational data)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
- In some locations, ability to move up to 20 lbs.

Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $69,600.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $106,132.50
