Job summary

UPMC Health Plan in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking an entry-level Systems Analyst, Associate, to join the Operations, Risk, Integrity department. The full-time, hybrid position follows a Monday–Friday daytime schedule and is located in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will document system builds, gather requirements, perform basic analysis, and support project tasks under supervision. Emphasis on SDLC, data confidentiality, and collaboration with IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring basic analytical and/or programming skills.
• Ability to define requirements and develop/maintain computer applications/systems.
• Familiarity with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and data confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Documentation: complete documentation/flow charting of system builds and maintain team's existing documentation.
• Extract and document customer/business requirements for use by enterprise architecture and engineering teams under guidance of senior team members.
• Second and Third Level Support, including maintenance activities.
• Triage support issues and escalate as needed.
• Partner with team members to troubleshoot support issues.
• Contribute to project tasks and milestones under the direction of a project manager.
• Update all project management and time tracking tools accordingly.
• Demonstrate effective written and oral communications to build relationships and complete day-to-day work and projects.

UPMC Health Plan has an exciting opportunity for a Systems Analyst, Associate position in the Operations, Risk, Integrity department. This is a full time position working Monday through Friday daylight hours. This will be a hybrid position so must be located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Under the general direction of the management team and senior staff, this entry level position provides basic analytical and/or programming services, defining requirements, developing and/or maintaining computer applications/systems, and providing services to meet client IT and business needs.
Responsibilities:

• Documentation Complete documentation/flow charting of system builds and maintain team's existing documentation.
• Demonstrates the ability to extract and document customer/business requirements and needs for use by the enterprise architecture and engineering teams (network, system, and software), under the guidance of senior team members.
• Second and Third Level Support (Including Maintenance Activities).
