The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform (including Power Apps), SSIS, Snowflake, and query languages, with experience using Tableau and advanced Excel.

UPMC Health Plan is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst, Intermediate to join our team in a hybrid role, working Monday through Friday during standard daylight hours. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform (including Power Apps), SSIS, Snowflake, and query languages, along with experience using Tableau and advanced Excel.

This position will be responsible for analyzing business and technical needs, developing and enhancing reporting solutions and applications, initiating and supporting technology projects, and partnering with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions. The successful candidate will be a hands‑on problem solver who can build programs and dashboards, work with data, identify opportunities for process improvement, and effectively leverage Microsoft technologies to meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Complete documentation/flow charting of system builds and maintain team's existing documentation independently.
• Responsible for validating current documentation.
• Extract and document customer/business requirements and needs for use by enterprise architecture and engineering teams (network, system, and software).
• Second and Third Level Support (Including Maintenance Activities).
• Independently triage and resolve level 1 and level 2 support issues.
• Escalate level 3 support issues accordingly.
• Project ManagementCreate and contributes to project tasks and milestones.
• Update all project management and time tracking tools accordingly.
• Ability to take full ownership of a project.
• SDLC (System Development Life Cycle)c.
