Job summary

Washington County Government in Arkansas seeks a Systems Administrator to install and maintain all network components across the County and to design the structure of network systems and servers. The role includes maintaining back-office systems such as database and application servers, and supporting desktop hardware and software for the Systems Support Team.

The position requires passing a criminal background check and may involve security clearances; pre-employment and suspicion drug testing

Qualifications

Must pass a criminal background check and obtain federal security clearances where required.
Subject to pre-employment and reasonable suspicion testing; promotional positions may require drug testing.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain all network components throughout the County.
Analyze needs and determine the structure of all network systems and servers.
Install and maintain back-office systems including database and application servers.
Assist with operational problems at the server application level and user level.
Help the Systems Support Team to install and maintain desktop hardware and software
