AT&T Global Public Sector in Columbia, MD is seeking a System Administrator to support our federal government network solution. The role requires onsite presence in Columbia with 5 days/week schedule and no relocation.

The position involves administering Linux and Windows IT systems, VMware, NAS/SAN storage, and deploying software updates while ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience as a Systems Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university, a developer nanodegree, or equivalent work experience, is required.
• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Administrating day-to-day Linux and/or Windows IT systems to include system availability, backup/restore, configuration changes, maintaining and patching both physical and virtual.
• Install and configure workstations, servers, printers, and data, voice, or video network components; maintain software releases.
• Provide technical support for development, test, and production environments; perform capacity planning and system tuning; engage in problem resolution.
