Job summary

Kapitus is seeking a System Administrator I to help scale using Microsoft 365 and secure fintech platforms. The role spans strategy and hands-on execution with teams in NY, VA, CA and Chennai. You will drive SSO, automation, and data governance across cloud and on‑prem environments.

You will join a security‑conscious, fast‑paced company and work on regulatory compliance, incident response and knowledgebase maintenance. This position supports remote candidates where Kapitus has a presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years with Microsoft 365, SaaS/PaaS and cloud environments.
• Experience in regulated environments with security awareness.
• MCSE or Enterprise Administrator Expert certification required; security certs are a plus.
• Familiarity with SOC 2, PCI-DSS and FFIEC is highly desirable.
• Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP; Atlassian tools a plus.
• Strong scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation.
• Solid networking, firewalls, VPNs and zero-trust principles.

Responsibilities

• Support org-wide SSO rollout and automated user provisioning.
• Automate cloud infra, servers and on-prem networks for compliance.
• Admin and enhance Microsoft 365 to support regulated workflows.
• Assist in migration to OneDrive and SharePoint with retention policies.
• Advance UEM and MDM to protect sensitive data.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
