Job summary

Kapitus is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator III to architect, secure, and support critical fintech infrastructure across cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments. You will lead complex projects, mentor junior staff, and drive continuous improvement in security and uptime.

The role focuses on Azure/cloud design, IAM, Zero Trust, and collaboration with Security and Compliance teams. A strong background in Windows, M365, development of IaC, and virtualization is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Serve as escalation point for complex infrastructure issues from L1/L2 support teams.
Design, implement, and maintain secure, highly available infrastructure across Azure, on‑prem, and hybrid cloud.
Lead architecture and deployment of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions in fintech environments.
Administer and harden Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online/Teams/SharePoint/OneDrive.
Manage endpoint security and Zero Trust principles with MDM/Intune, JAMF.
Implement IAM controls including Azure AD Conditional Access, MFA, and SSO integrations.
Collaborate with network teams on firewalls, Meraki, and segmentation; support IaC tooling (Terraform/Ansible/PowerShell DSC).
Administer virtualization (VMware vSphere, Citrix on Azure) and cloud DR/backup; ensure RTO/RPO objectives.
Document runbooks and SOPs; mentor junior admins; support cross‑functional initiatives.
