Job summary

Vicus Capital is seeking a proactive, customer-focused Systems Administrator to support and evolve the firm’s technology environment across corporate operations, financial advisors, and business users. The role administers Microsoft 365, cloud and on‑premises infrastructure, networking, and endpoint management while partnering with staff to deliver reliable technology solutions.

This is a full-time onsite position based in State College, Pennsylvania, and requires strong cybersecurity practices,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of systems administration, infrastructure support, or IT operations.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Entra ID.
• Experience supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, and endpoint management.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, identity management, and data protection concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, and Defender.
• Support Windows Server, Active Directory, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Manage network infrastructure, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco switches, wireless networks, VPN connectivity, and security controls.
• Maintain endpoint management, patching, and monitoring solutions for security and reliability.
• Support virtualization and cloud environments, including backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
