Job summary

Mbi Llc is seeking a Systems Administrator to deliver and support Transportation Operations Center infrastructure. You will independently and collaboratively achieve service objectives, handling Tier 1–3 requests and maintaining systems across Linux and Windows servers.

The role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience, strong customer service, and the ability to document architectures, configurations, and changes. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and incident response is valued.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
• Responds to Tier 1–3 support requests.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• Communicates effectively with teammates and customers of varying levels of technical expertise.
• Configures and deploys Linux Red Hat and Windows Servers.
• Maintains up-to-date project and architecture documentation.
• Maintains up-to-date inventory and maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Responds to all break/fix requests for end user resources.
• Monitors system resources for server/service anomalies.
• Resolves connection issues between users and resources.
• Supports cybersecurity controls and threat hunting efforts.
• Performs OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis.
• Install and configure new services as required.
• Perform daily system monitoring and backups.
• Coordinate with impacted constituencies on changes.
