Job summary

Professional Transportation Consulting, Inc. seeks a Systems Infrastructure Engineer to manage Windows, Linux, UNIX, and virtualization environments in a data‑center setting. You will ensure stability, quality, and compliance while supporting customers and on‑call rotations.

The role requires meticulous documentation, collaboration with teams, and adherence to Good Documentation Practices. Prior enterprise data center experience is a plus, with a strong focus on automation and security

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Active Secret Security Clearance, desirable.
• Experience in IL6, IL5 or FRM environments desirable.
• Attention to detail and perfectionism tendencies.
• Highly motivated and goal‑oriented with good multitasking and prioritization.
• Strong written and verbal communication; collaborative with customers and team.

Responsibilities

• Support Windows and Linux data center infrastructure and related services.
• Provide technical support and ensure projects meet time and budget goals.
• Serve as escalation point for junior staff and participate in on‑call rotation.
• Review, create, test and execute documentation to ensure QC and data integrity.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver compliant, stable systems.
