Job summary

Inceed is partnering with a client to fill a Systems Administrator Lead role. The position focuses on guiding architecture decisions, strengthening security, and supporting modernization across on-premises and cloud environments.

The candidate will lead enterprise infrastructure efforts, develop standards, and mentor a technical team in a hybrid cloud setting. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in IT infrastructure, hands-on Azure and M365 experience, and a strong grasp of security, compliance,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure and systems administration experience.
• 8+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree.
• Experience leading enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Understanding of infrastructure security and Zero Trust principles.
• Working knowledge of networking and systems integration.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and ITIL practices.
• Experience with PowerFlex.

Compensation:

$122,000 - $152,000 annually, depending on experience

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Systems Administrator Lead to join their team!

This is a high-impact opportunity for an infrastructure professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and shaping the future of enterprise technology. In this role, you will help guide architecture decisions, strengthen security, and support modernization across on-premises and cloud environments. The team is looking for someone who can bring technical depth, strategic thinking, and a collaborative approach to a growing infrastructure landscape.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead enterprise infrastructure design across on-premises and cloud environments
• Develop standards, roadmaps, and governance frameworks for infrastructure
• Serve as escalation support for complex systems and cloud issues
• Support modernization efforts, automation, and security improvements
• Partner with leadership on technology strategy and investment decisions
