Job summary

Inceed, a staffing direct placement firm, is partnering with a great company to hire a Lead Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise networks across security and data center technologies.

You will work hands-on with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ISR devices and Fortinet FortiGate/FortiManager, help drive SD-WAN and SASE initiatives, and create clear documentation while collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering/infrastructure experience.
• Required CCNP or CCDP certifications.
• Strong Cisco experience with Catalyst, Nexus, and ISR.
• Fortinet experience with FortiGate/FortiSwitch/FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer.
• Advanced routing knowledge in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• Switching fundamentals: VLANs, STP, port-channels.
• Strong network security understanding and segmentation.
• Experience supporting SD-WAN.

Responsibilities

Compensation

$135k + annually, depending on experience

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Lead Network Engineer to join their team!

This is a great opportunity to join a team-focused environment supporting and modernizing an enterprise network. You’ll play a key role in network design, operations, and strategic initiatives across security, cloud networking, and next-gen data center technologies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network systems across multiple platforms
• Work hands‑on with Cisco routing, switching, and data center technologies
• Configure and manage Fortinet security solutions (firewalls/switching/management/analytics)
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across layered environments
• Support and drive initiatives related to SD‑WAN and SASE
• Create clear network documentation, standards, and troubleshooting notes
• Partner cross-functionally to improve infrastructure reliability and security

Required Qualifications & Experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• CCIE, CCDE, or additional Cisco certifications
• Fortinet NSE 7 / FCX (or similar advanced Fortinet certifications)
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
• Experience with hybrid network environments (on‑prem & Cloud)
