Job summary

University Operations at the University of Central Florida seeks a Systems Administrator II to manage endpoint systems, secure infrastructure, and provide advanced Tier 3 support.

You will work with Intune, MECM, and JAMF, implement security controls, automate tasks with scripts, and mentor junior staff.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent, 2 years of relevant experience, and a salary range of $64,518 – $80,648.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent IT experience.
• 2+ years of relevant system administration experience.
• Experience with Intune, MECM, or JAMF administration.
• Strong PowerShell or Bash scripting abilities.
• Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST/CIS/HIPAA/FERPA.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support endpoint management platforms (Intune, MECM, JAMF).
• Maintain secure endpoint configurations (GPO, Intune, JAMF).
• Manage and operate file, print, and license servers.
• Monitor, remediate vulnerabilities, and provide Tier 3 support.
• Develop scripts to automate tasks and document configurations.
• Mentor junior staff and share knowledge.
