Job summary

Pace Analytical Services LLC is seeking a Systems Administrator I to provide technical support for PC and network systems across multiple Pace locations. You will install, test, document, and maintain LAN hardware and software, manage user accounts, and assist end users with hardware and software needs.

The role requires strong TCP/IP knowledge, familiarity with Cisco equipment, and experience with Windows OS, email systems, backups, and VoIP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field and two years of experience in PC/network/server hardware and software.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN hardware/software and cabling practices; familiar with Cisco switches/routers.
• Able to install, maintain and document PC/network hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, document and maintain LAN systems and equipment; troubleshoot hardware/software problems.
• Manage user accounts, access and passwords in directory services and email.
• Install and maintain PC systems across Pace locations; assist users with hardware/software needs.
• Maintain communications systems between departmental PCs and Pace systems; troubleshoot and resolve issues; inform users of outages.
• Monitor data, voice and internet services and escalate outages to vendors; coordinate resolution.
• Create documentation and user instructions; maintain accurate records and inventory.
