Job summary

Pace Analytical Services is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PCs, networks, servers, and related peripherals. You will manage user accounts, ensure reliable communications, and maintain documentation across Pace locations.

The role emphasizes hands-on hardware/software support, collaboration with IT peers, and on-call site coverage to keep services running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• Two years of experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting PC, network, and server hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, documents and maintains LAN systems and equipment; troubleshoots hardware and software problems.
• Manages user accounts, access, and passwords; creates user groups and computers in directory services and email.
• Maintains PC systems across Pace locations and installs software; ensures vendor hardware/software function properly.
• Maintains communications between departmental PCs and networks; resolves issues and ensures proper operation.
• Monitors data, voice and internet services and servers; communicates outages and coordinates resolutions.
