Job summary

Mach Industries is seeking a customer-focused IT Systems Administrator to support employees and maintain endpoints, identity services, servers, and cloud/on-prem environments. This role combines Level 1 and Level 2 support with hands-on administration of core IT systems.

You will be the first contact for IT requests and help keep the environment secure, documented, and reliable through routine maintenance and improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
• Experience with Windows and macOS environments.
• Experience with AD, Microsoft 365, user and permission management.
• Networking fundamentals: DNS, DHCP, IP addressing.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, connectivity, and endpoints.
• Familiarity with Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of patch management, backups, and security practices.
• Ability to document procedures and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support for hardware, software, accounts, connectivity, and other IT issues.
• Troubleshoot workstation, OS, application, peripheral, identity, network, and infrastructure problems; escalate complex issues when needed.
• Administer and maintain IT systems across on-premises and cloud environments, including servers and core services.
• Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and identity services for secure access.
• Set up, provision, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Install, configure, and update software, including Microsoft 365, VPN clients, and security apps.
• Support AD, Microsoft 365, DNS, DHCP, GPO, and file services.
• Perform routine maintenance: patching, backups, upgrades, monitoring, performance tuning.
• Document procedures and maintain knowledge base content.
• Assist with security/compliance efforts and audit readiness.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues and vendors on infra projects.
