Job summary

McMillan Pazdan Smith is seeking a Systems Administrator to maintain and secure the organization's IT infrastructure, cloud services, and identity systems across offices. You will support endpoint management, patching, and deployments while providing escalated technical assistance and project support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience deploying and supporting enterprise software across multiple offices, including deployment automation and security/compliance.
• 3+ years of experience in systems administration (server, identity, endpoint).
• Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft 365, AD/Entra ID, and endpoint management solutions.
• Strong IT infrastructure knowledge: networking, hardware, software, security, backups, and recovery.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications or equivalent experience in systems administration, cloud, cybersecurity, or networking.

Responsibilities

• Administer servers, cloud services, virtualization, storage, backups, and core IT systems.
• Manage AD/Entra ID, user access controls, group management, and identity services.
• Provide escalation support and guidance to help desk; contribute cybersecurity, cloud, networking expertise.
• Monitor system health, performance, availability, and security; address issues to minimize disruption.
• Perform upgrades, patching, configuration changes, and vulnerability remediation.
