Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Manager, Platform Services, this position involves deploying, designing, enhancing, managing, documenting, and maintaining computer systems and servers on AWS and VMware platforms. The role supports internal ITS teams and university partners by ensuring platform availability, security, reliability, and optimization. It leverages supporting systems to ensure service availability, integrity, security, performance, and reliability.
This position is eligible for remote work according to Cal Poly’s Telecommuting and Remote Work Guidelines and the CSU policy requiring work within California.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $89,250 - $102,300 per year
Classification Range: $61,896 - $152,760 per year
