Under general supervision of the Infrastructure Engineering Manager, this position supports the ITS-Infrastructure Engineering group and their interface with other campus systems and services. Responsibilities include network infrastructure analysis, modification, maintenance, installation, design, and interface with internal ITS staff and the user community. The role involves designing and supporting enterprise-level routers, switches, firewalls, access points, wireless controllers, and related infrastructure to ensure system availability, integrity, and reliability.
This position is eligible for remote work in accordance with Cal Poly’s Telecommuting and Remote Work Guidelines and CSU policy, provided all work is performed within California.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $95,000 - $115,000 per year.
Classification Range: $61,896 - $152,760 per year.
