Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for our System-Wide Float Pool. In this role, RNs will gain exposure to various patient care environments while floating throughout the RWJBH system. Applicants should have at least three years of intermediate care experience and a current New Jersey RN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of intermediate care experience in a hospital setting.
• Current New Jersey RN licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Administer individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital.
• Participate in patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Support the philosophy and objectives of RWJBarnabas Health.
