Department: Nursing Float Pool

Status: Full‑Time

Shift: Day (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, every other weekend required)

Pay Range: $48.29 – $65.06 per hour (New Jersey)

Job Overview

Provides extraordinary care to patients across all populations, including Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Oncology units. The RN administers individualized, age‑specific professional care, supports the hospital’s mission and vision, practices in accordance with regulations and standards, participates in patient teaching, discharge planning, and unit performance‑improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN license (or approved RN license) required
• ASN or BSN required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) prior to start date required
• Previous critical care or telemetry experience preferred

Scheduling Requirements

• Full‑time, day shift (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Every other weekend required
• Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs
• Mandatory orientation
