Job summary

Maximus seeks a System Test Engineer to support USAF mission systems. The role entails planning, developing test documents and procedures, and performing a range of manual and automated tests from unit to end-to-end. The candidate must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and be able to obtain a CI Poly.

Preferred candidates will have DoD DevSecOps experience, relevant certifications, and a willingness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 5 years of recent and relevant experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests to verify system operability and compliance.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• Experience testing RESTful interfaces and sending/receiving RESTful information.
• Experience testing in a cloud environment.
• Willingness to travel 10% to 20% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for system testing, planning, and documentation of test plans and procedures.
• Perform manual and automated testing including unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Support process improvement and definition of requirements for USAF mission systems.

Job description

The System Test Engineer provides subject matter proficiency for our USAF mission. This role is responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing test documents, developing procedures, performing various types of manual and automated software testing including, but not limited to, unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing. Shall perform other technical and/or test-related duties as required.

This role is contingent upon award.

This role is remote and requires a TS/SCI clearance.
