Job summary

Maximus is seeking a System Test Engineer to support USAF missions. The role covers analytical testing, planning, and development of test documents, performing multiple types of manual and automated testing, including unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end.

This remote position requires TS/SCI clearance and occasional travel. A Bachelor's degree is required, with Master’s potentially substituting for two years of experience; Jira and RESTful interface testing in cloud environments are

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 5 years of recent and relevant experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests to verify system operability and compliance.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• Practical experience testing and analyzing RESTful interfaces and sending/receiving RESTful information.
• Practical experience testing in a cloud environment.

• Willingness to travel 10% to 20% of the time, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support for process improvement, studies, and requirements definition.

• Support DoD DevSecOps environments as applicable; collaborate with team members across disciplines.

Job description

The System Test Engineer provides subject matter proficiency for our USAF mission. This role is responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing test documents, developing procedures, performing various types of manual and automated software testing including, but not limited to, unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and end-to-end testing. Shall perform other technical and/or test-related duties as required.

This role is remote and requires a TS/SCI clearance.
