Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a System Support Analyst to join the Core RAFT Support US team. The role focuses on providing 24x7 on-call production support, analyzing root causes, and coordinating with IT, Product Development, and vendors to resolve issues.

You will document resolutions, escalate appropriately, and participate in cross-functional projects while supporting production processing and policy documentation. A related degree and strong programming knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, business administration or related discipline; equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of programming languages.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks in fast-paced environments.

What You’ll Own

• Provides 24 x 7 on-call support for all assigned production-related systems.
• May conduct code-level software analyses to identify root cause of bugs and/or system modifications as needed.
• Interfaces with internal clients, vendors, managers, IT and Product Development to resolve problems.
• Analyzes problem, documents and communicates resolution and conducts follow up. Escalates problems to appropriate teams when necessary.
• Assists in documenting current policies and procedures.
• Represents team on cross-functional teams for production, support and development activities.
• Performs specialty production processing.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Experience in one or more of the following disciplines: software quality control, systems analysis or system support preferred.
• Knowledge of programming languages
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time management skills
