Job description

Join to apply for the System Support Administrator role at T & T Supermarket.

Reporting to the Manager - System Support, the System Support Administrator is responsible for the effective provision, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software, as well as related infrastructure. The role also involves providing first-level support for business applications to ensure smooth IT operations.

T&T Supermarkets has been Canada’s favorite Asian grocery store for over 30 years and recently announced its first store in the United States. Our US flagship store is set to open in 2024 in Bellevue, Washington, spanning 76,000 sq.ft., and will be the largest Asian specialty supermarket in the state.

We plan further growth with a regional office in the greater Los Angeles area to expand our vendor base with American food suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

1. Developing and maintaining installation, operational, and configuration procedures.
2. Installing and configuring servers, workstations, and network equipment according to standards and requirements.
3. Maintaining system standards and performing daily system monitoring.
4. Conducting regular security monitoring and backups.
5. Performing system software maintenance, applying patches, and upgrading systems.
6. Providing first-level IT support for hardware and software issues.
7. Supporting mobile devices, AV systems, CCTV, and Temperature and Humidity Monitoring Systems.
8. Maintaining hardware and software inventories and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office365, Active Directory, Azure, and Exchange.
• Familiarity with Windows-based systems, VMware, and scripting with PowerShell.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Services, internet, and mobile technologies (asset).
• Good communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work outside regular hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (preferred).
