Job summary

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a System Product Engineer who can support, test and validate chassis and work on system level products. This candidate will be based out of our headquarter office located in San Jose, CA.

You will configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and validate storage system performance and application solutions while collaborating with design and validation teams. The role requires lab testing, reporting, and communicating results to FAE and sales to help drive product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or with equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in PC and Server system testing, server or computer system assembly and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Experience and proficiency in Windows Server and Linux OS environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage chassis and system level product life cycle.
• Work with design and validation team to support product development.
• Conduct storage system level testing in lab and generate test reports.
• Provide product training to FAE and sales.
• Support production and assist customers with system level troubleshooting.
• Proactively learn and research new technologies.
