Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Product Engineer to support its Storage/System products in San Jose, CA. You will test, validate, and deploy storage system level solutions, troubleshooting performance and reliability across hardware and software layers.

You will collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to define testing plans, support RMA and Failure Analysis, and document know-how for chassis/server lines.

Qualifications

• BS/MS or higher in Electrical/Mechanical/CS/Materials or related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of system experience.
• Familiar with Linux and Windows server.
• Familiar with server hardware and networking.

Responsibilities

• Design testing methods to validate chassis/server products and ensure quality.
• Assist product manager with release planning, product design, and lifecycle management.
