Job summary

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a System Product Engineer to support, test and validate chassis and system level products. This role involves configuring, deploying, troubleshooting, and validating storage system performance and application solutions at our San Jose, CA headquarters.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or with equivalent experience.
1+ years of experience in PC and Server system testing, server or computer system assembly and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Experience with Windows Server and Linux OS environments.

Responsibilities

Manage chassis and system level product life cycle.
Work with design and validation teams to support product development.
Conduct storage system level testing in lab and generate test reports.
Provide product training to FAE and sales.
Support production and assist customers with product/system level troubleshooting.
Proactively research and learn new technologies.
