Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a System Manager to serve as the primary daily operational link for a federal customer’s Office of Information Systems. You will coordinate maintenance workflows, manage SLAs, and liaise with Motorola teams and third-party vendors to sustain system uptime and safety-critical operations.

You must be a U.S. citizen, able to obtain security clearance, and ready to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in LMR, telecommunications, public safety or related fields.
• Ability to manage SLAs, system monitoring, and incident response.
• Willingness to travel and coordinate with multiple teams and vendors.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead SLA compliance for G Series infrastructure and APX products.
• Oversee system monitoring, reporting, and incident response activities.
• Coordinate maintenance workflows with service partners to sustain uptime.
• Communicate with Motorola technical teams to report issues and open cases.
• Manage patching, asset records, and lifecycle planning across networks.
• Coordinate repairs, deployments, and staging for field units.
• Prepare weekly/monthly service reports and maintain portals.
