Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking a System Manager to serve as the primary daily operational link and liaison for a federal OIS Radio Services Division. You will drive maintenance execution, coordinate with local partners, and ensure uptime for critical public-safety networks across the National Capital Region and beyond. This role requires security clearance eligibility and strong coordination with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Five or more years of experience in LMR, telecommunications, or public safety domains.
U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations to fulfill SLA terms for G Series infrastructure, APX subscriber products, and subsystems.
Pull reports from the Unified Event Monitoring (UEM) platform to track system events across Primary and DSR COREs, Prime sites, Dispatch, and RF Sub-sites.
Direct emergency restoration efforts and manage multi-tiered escalation procedures during outages.
Coordinate with Motorola technical teams to report issues and initiate open support cases.
Oversee patch management and system health across operational networks, and manage repair, replacement, and staging for field equipment.
