Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the Washington, DC area seeks a System Manager to lead maintenance and support for a federal OIS Radio Services division. You will drive maintenance workflows, ensure SLA adherence, and coordinate with field partners to sustain uptime and performance.

This role requires US citizenship, ability to obtain security clearance, a 40-hour workweek with a standard hybrid schedule, and local travel to DC area sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in LMR, Telecommunications, Public Safety, Engineering, Networking equipment, Lifecycle Services, or related fields.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain security clearance.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; no sponsorship.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience with patch management and system maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead SLA and commitment compliance for G Series infrastructure and APX lines.
• Act as系统 Overwatch by pulling reports to monitor events and uptime.
• Direct emergency restoration and manage multi-tier escalations.
• Coordinate with Motorola technical teams to report issues and open cases.
• Oversee patch management and field equipment repair workflows.
• Liaise between the federal customer, CSE, TSO and vendors.
