Munson Healthcare in Traverse City, MI, seeks an experienced leader to direct Anesthesia and Perioperative Services across the system. You will oversee providers, testing centers, and staffing to ensure efficient, high-quality care.

The role requires a Master's or higher in healthcare administration (preferred) and at least five years of management experience in anesthesia or surgical services, with a proven change-management track record. Collaboration with leaders and physicians is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, or Nursing Administration.
• Minimum of five years of management experience in anesthesia services, surgical services, or a closely related clinical environment.
• Proven ability to lead and manage change in a complex healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with organizational leaders, physicians, and clinical providers.

Job Description

This role directs Anesthesia and Perioperative Services operations across all Munson Healthcare and contracted locations. Provides oversight of system anesthesia providers, Advanced Testing and Registration Centers. Leads system-wide standardization, best practice implementation, and coordinated anesthesia scheduling and staffing to ensure high-quality, efficient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred, with a concentration in Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, or Nursing Administration.
• Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in anesthesia services, surgical services, or a closely related clinical environment.
• Proven ability to lead and manage change in a complex healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with organizational leaders, physicians, and clinical providers.
