Job summary

Munson Healthcare in northern Michigan seeks a Director of Anesthesia Services to oversee Anesthesia and Perioperative Operations across the system. The role drives standardization, staffing, and coordinated scheduling to deliver high-quality, efficient care.

This role directs Anesthesia and Perioperative Services operations across all Munson Healthcare and contracted locations. Provides oversight of system anesthesia providers, Advanced Testing and Registration Centers. Leads system-wide standardization, best practice implementation, and coordinated anesthesia scheduling and staffing to ensure high-quality, efficient care.

What’s Required

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred, with a concentration in Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Hospital Administration, or Nursing Administration.
• Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in anesthesia services, surgical services, or a closely related clinical environment.
• Proven ability to lead and manage change in a complex healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated success in building collaborative relationships with organizational leaders, physicians, and clinical providers.
