Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Denver, CO seeks a cleared Systems Development Engineer to join the ADC Serverless team. You will design automation and CI/CD for AWS Lambda and container services in air-gapped environments, and reduce toil through self-service tooling.

Role requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; you will collaborate across teams, ensure reliability, and contribute to scalable, secure cloud solutions for government customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP required.
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of designing or architecting scalable systems.
• Experience programming with modern languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building automation, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines for AWS Lambda and container services in isolated environments.
• Eliminating operational toil through self-service tooling and automated remediation.
• Deep-diving into service inter-dependencies and region-specific configurations to drive permanent resolutions.
• Proactively identifying variances that could affect services and resolving them via code.
• Building and maintaining monitoring, alerting, and observability systems for fault tolerance.
• Collaborating with commercial teams to implement ADC-specific adaptations.
