Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Denver is seeking a cleared Systems Development Engineer to join the ADC AWS Commerce Platform team.

You will work on billing systems in air-gapped environments and build services and tooling to improve operation at scale. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and hands-on experience in distributed systems, Linux/Unix, and modern programming languages such as C++, Java, and Python.

Qualifications

• Experience (non-internship) in professional software development.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Associate's degree or above, or CND or GSEC certifications.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
• Experience tools for automation (building, testing, releasing or monitoring).
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

• Build and support billing systems in air-gapped cloud environments and related services.
• Design and develop tooling to improve operation and scalability of AWS services.
