Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a Systems Development Engineer II to innovate and simplify complex cloud analytics solutions for air-gapped environments.

You will work with government customers to address their needs across AWS analytics services and drive improvements in reliability and automation. Basic qualifications include a BS in CS or equivalent, 3+ years of software development, and current TS/SCI with Poly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable systems for air-gapped environments.
• Collaborate with teams to drive automation and improve operations.
• Lead technical discussions and post-mortems to identify root causes.
• Build solutions across ADC partitions and regions.
