Job summary

Dallas College seeks a Staff level IT/Applications Analyst to analyze and model digital engagement processes, document current procedures, identify improvement opportunities, and support the technical foundation for diverse operations across campus systems.

You will partner with end users and stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate software enhancements, test changes, ensure data integrity and security plans, and deliver reliable solutions in alignment with district policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
Five (5) years of experience in a related field required.
Texas driver’s license required for offsite travel where applicable.
Background check and fingerprinting may be required.

Responsibilities

Analyze and model existing digital engagement processes to document current procedures and identify improvements.
Participate in discovery, surveys, and requirements gathering to determine Dallas College needs.
Keep management and users informed about software updates, modifications, and workflow issues.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge through ongoing development and training.
Test and document modifications to application software and assist with implementation and data processing documentation.
Create test plans and participate in system testing and conversion.
Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to enhance data integrity and security.
