Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a System Administrator for the SNOC/Service Desk in Chicago. This role supports IT and OT systems in a Microsoft Windows environment, serving as the final escalation point for incidents during business hours.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (in office Mon–Thu, remote Fri if possible) and a base pay range of $88,000–$108,000 per year with a 20–30% bonus potential. You will own complex incident resolution across control center, corporate, and remote sites, monitor

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS.
• 3+ years in enterprise IT or service desk.
• Strong MS 365, Windows Server, and client OS experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as final escalation point for Service Desk incidents during business hours.
• Own and resolve complex IT/OT issues across control center, corporate, and remote sites.
• Monitor, triage, and document tickets with timely resolutions and clear user communication.
• Collaborate with server, network, security, applications, and OT teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in IT change management, maintenance planning, and system improvements.
• Maintain knowledge base articles and troubleshooting procedures for the team.
• Provide mentoring and guidance to Service Desk peers and document handoffs.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and post-incident reviews.
