Job summary

Invenergy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, seeks a System Administrator to support IT and OT in a Microsoft Windows-based environment. You’ll be the final escalation point for Service Desk incidents, operating across control center, corporate, and remote sites with day shift coverage and cross-functional collaboration.

The role emphasizes incident resolution, ticket management, and proactive problem solving to maintain reliable IT and OT services during business hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in enterprise IT, Service Desk, or systems administration.
• Strong experience with Microsoft environments including 365, Windows Server, and workstation OS.
• Experience with incident management, escalation, and resolving complex issues.
• Experience supporting business-critical IT/OT environments preferred.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as final escalation point for Service Desk incidents during business hours.
• Own and resolve IT/OT issues across control center, corporate, and remote sites.
• Monitor tickets, ensure timely resolution, document, and escalate as needed.
• Collaborate with server, network, security, app, and OT teams to resolve requests.
• Participate in IT change management, maintenance, and system improvements.
• Identify trends and propose long-term reliability improvements.
• Maintain knowledgebase and support documentation for teams.
• Communicate incident status and next actions clearly to users.
