Qualifications

• Minimum 5-10 years hands-on experience implementing and managing IT technologies.
• Operations experience in 24x7x365 environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; must document implementations, modifications, removals.
• Willing to work and participate in on-call rotation.
• Experience with Windows Server in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace cloud platforms incl. Intune, SharePoint, Security.
• Strong experience managing AD, DNS, DHCP, CA.
• Desire to learn Linux and become proficient Linux Administrator.
• PowerShell scriptingKnowledge; goal to acquire scripting proficiencies over time.
• Experience supporting VMware/Hyper-V and hyperconverged platforms (HPE, Dell, VxRail, Nutanix).
• Experience with monitoring and backup platforms.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting incidents related to enterprise infrastructure.
• Apply patches to supported infrastructure to mitigate risk and enhance performance.
• Ensure backups and recoverability of platforms.
• Maintain security procedures and policies set forth by engineers.
• Leverage IT technologies for rapid deployment and capacity management.
• Performance tuning of operating systems and applications.
• Plan and execute change management activities during evenings/weekends as required.
• Assist systems engineers to develop standards, documentation, and evaluate new products.
• Collaborate with systems engineering on cloud technologies and SOPs.
• Work with third party vendors for troubleshooting and escalation.
