Job summary

Climate First Bank is seeking a systems administrator to maintain both on‑premises and cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and scalable growth. The role emphasizes provisioning, access controls, and cross‑functional collaboration across IT teams.

You will support core banking technologies, strengthen operational controls, and drive incident response while adhering to regulatory requirements. Remote US role with EST hours; travel minimal may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in IT, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of systems administration or related IT roles, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Hyper-V, SaaS platforms, and enterprise storage.
• Proficiency with Active Directory, Azure AD, GPO, IAM, endpoint management, and M365 administration.
• Experience leading or participating in technical initiatives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer critical on‑premises and cloud-based systems, including servers, virtualization platforms, endpoint management solutions, and core banking technologies.
• Maintain system uptime, performance, reliability, and lifecycle management through monitoring, maintenance, patching, and release planning.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and continuous improvement activities across infrastructure and mission‑critical systems.
• Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, group policies, identity and access controls, and user lifecycle provisioning.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and security standards including BSA, AML, OFAC, NIST, and vendor controls.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis for outages or security events, coordinating with cybersecurity partners as needed.
• Develop, maintain, and audit system documentation, diagrams, and runbooks for audit readiness.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Digital Banking teams to support requirements, upgrades, integrations.
• Serve as escalation point for IT Specialists and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
