Job summary

Stellar Services is seeking an experienced IT systems professional to support end-user devices and infrastructure across multiple NYC facilities. The role involves hands-on administration, device configuration planning, and proactive issue resolution to maintain enterprise operations.

The candidate will work with Jamf, Apple Business Manager, Workspace One, Google Workspace, and Nexthink among other tools. Some travel within the five boroughs is required to provide onsite support.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related).
• At least 5 years progressive experience in data processing, computer systems, and applications.
• Operations Specialty requires 5 years supervisory experience.
• Broad knowledge of computers, hardware, and systems; security protocols experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding and use of system management tools (Jamf, ABM, Workspace One).
• Understand infrastructure systems (Active Directory, Network).
• Assist with administering systems for end-user devices.
• Plan and test configuration profiles for devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripherals across the enterprise.
• Identify ongoing device issues and recurring incident trends.
• Coordinate OS upgrades across facilities and communicate downtime.
• Test system and app updates for device deployments.
• Provide remote/troubleshooting support for end-user devices.
• Use diagnostic tools to resolve infrastructure issues.
