Qualifications

Job description

SECURITY ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:This position requires the ability to successfully obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Public Trust determination and all associated access approvals required for performance under a Federal Government contract. Candidates must successfully complete all required investigative and suitability procedures, including fingerprinting, criminal history screening, federal name checks, and additional security requirements as directed by the Government. Applicants must satisfy DOJ Contractor Residency Requirements (residing in the United States for three of the last five years, or qualifying exception). No conditional offers will be extended pending investigation completion.

Position Overview

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOJ Public Trust determination and satisfy all applicable Government suitability requirements. Applicants must meet DOJ contractor residency requirements and successfully complete all required security screening procedures prior to receiving system access. Because this position supports Federal information systems, candidates must possess exceptional professionalism, sound judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.

This position serves as the proposed Key Personnel resource supporting enterprise systems administration, infrastructure operations, endpoint management, service desk support, and customer-focused IT services within a highly regulated Federal environment.

Desired Technical Environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments
  • Manage Active Directory users, groups, permissions, and access controls
  • Configure and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure systems
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support enterprise hardware and software
  • Support Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 environments
  • Perform operating system deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management
Infrastructure Operations
  • Support enterprise infrastructure and network-connected systems
  • Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation activities
  • Support endpoint management and configuration management platforms
  • Maintain approved system configurations and security baselines
  • Support system monitoring and operational readiness initiatives
  • Provide Tier II and Tier III technical support
  • Troubleshoot incidents and service requests
  • Utilize ServiceNow to document, track, and resolve tickets
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users
  • Support customer service objectives and service delivery goals
Knowledge Management & Training
  • Create knowledge base articles and operational procedures
  • Develop technical documentation and support materials
  • Provide software application training and end-user instruction
  • Participate in process improvement and knowledge transfer initiatives
Security & Compliance
  • Support vulnerability management and remediation efforts
  • Protect Government information and information systems
  • Comply with all Federal security, privacy, and acceptable use requirements
  • Support cybersecurity awareness and compliance activities
  • Report incidents and security concerns in accordance with established procedures

Work is expected to be performed primarily in a remote or hybrid environment utilizing Government-furnished equipment and Government-provided access mechanisms. Occasional travel, on-site support, meetings, training events, or temporary duty assignments may be required based upon Government operational needs.
